One of the most effective features is the ability to save bandwidth and "double" processing by determining valid or invalid users users from the destination mail server, in effect it will not send mail payload  to a non existant user but will query the mail server first to check recipient validity

Individual profiles can be set to be used on users or groups so your mail can be scanned using very strict policies or as light as you wish. When the quarantine setting is used however then any false positives can be released by the end user or by the nominated administrator and these emials will be automatically added to that users whitelist.
