Viruses are sparse compared to previous days and the amount of mail passing through mail servers, for example one of our scanners within four hours has prevented approximately 70,000 spam emails of which 11 were virused which works out to be 0.02%. 

However, what you were unfortunate enough not to be using our scanners, that percentage is great enough to cause damage to your system, track your actions or to relay mail.  Each of these create a lot of hassle and stress, potential catastrophic failure and the prevention to operate as a business whilst the issue becomes resolved.
